Springfield, IL (WTAX) – Dr. Robert Lowenthal, ophthalmologist with the Eye Institute at Springfield Clinic, joined the WTAX Morning Newswatch to talk about safe viewing of the total solar eclipse.

Lowenthal is also an astrophotographer, and his photos from the within the path of totality will be on display and for sale at Perspectives Art Gallery in Petersburg.
