Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – In this fast-paced world, occasionally you come across someone who is a shining example of what it means to make a difference. Nominate that person for a Central Illinois Customer Service Association WOW Award. It’s a way to recognize someone in the area who has demonstrated exceptional customer service.

It could be someone who went above and beyond to assist you or someone who demonstrated remarkable compassion and kindness. Recognizing the individual through a WOW Award nomination celebrates the spirit of service and highlights their contributions to making Central Illinois a more positive place to live.

The Central Illinois Customer Service Association (CILCSA) presents the 2nd Quarter WOW Award to Rachel Lewis of Mel-O-Cream Donuts at Fairhills Mall!

Here is what one of Rachel’s nominators had to say: “Rachel is personable, knows her customers and is happy to see her customers. She is energetic even though I know she arrives at work at 5am. She talks eagerly about her grandbabies with us and makes us feel like customers are her family.”  Another nominator added: “Rachel is an absolute joy to see every time I go into Mel-O-Cream.  She greets me like an old friend and seems genuinely happy to see every single customer that enters the shop.  I am diet conscious – donuts are an infrequent treat for me.  But every time I enter the store, I end up b\ying more donuts than I anticipated because it is just so nice to talk to someone who is so happy and friendly.”
