Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Plans for a new 71,000-square-foot warehouse on Springfield’s north end, near the intersection of North Dirksen Parkway and Bissell Road, are in the works. While the tenant of the site has not been confirmed, the project is expected to bring economic benefits to the area. According to Ryan McCrady, President and CEO of the Springfield Sangamon Growth Alliance, the warehouse could generate up to 100 new jobs, marking a positive step for local employment and economic growth. The project, he said, still requires approval of the Springfield City Council.
