(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin has been re-elected to continue his work as Senate Democratic Whip. Likewise, Senate Democrats will stick with Sen. Chuck Schumer as their leader for the 119th Congress. The vote was taken Tuesday as Congress prepares for a new session and a new administration.
Dick Durbin posted on social media, “The November 5th election showed that our nation remains divided, and we face many challenges ahead. I look forward to continuing to serve my caucus and the American people in this role.”
