Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Central Illinois will experience a mix of wet and wintry weather this week, starting with mild temperatures and showers on Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the mid-50s on Monday and upper 40s on Tuesday. Conditions will turn colder midweek, possibly bringing a wintry mix on Wednesday and snow showers by Friday. The weekend looks brighter but chilly, with partly cloudy skies on Saturday and mostly sunny conditions on Sunday, as highs hover in the upper 20s to low 30s.
