Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon has released the names of two women who died as a result of Saturday’s motor vehicle collision near Illinois State Route 125 and Route 97. Leslie Foggy, 63, of Springfield was pronounced dead at the scene. Tammy Boyer, 43, of Petersburg was transported to Springfield Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Allmon says preliminary findings indicate the deaths were consistent with blunt force injuries from the crash.
