Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The University of Springfield‘s History department and its Center for Lincoln Studies are tasked with authoring an exhibit on Springfield’s new transportation center called “The HUB” regarding the city’s race riots in 1908.  Brian Mitchell, public humanities fellow at the UIS Center for Lincoln Studies is writing the exhibit, and talks with Will Stevenson on the WTAX Morning Newswatch.
