Taylor Farms recalls lettuce shipped to 27 states over cyclospora risk

Products with the potential to be contaminated with the diarrhea-causing parasite were shipped to 27 states including Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois and New Jersey.

Lettuce at Taco Bell in 5 states confirmed as a source of diarrhea-causing parasite

The federal warnings to consumers did not identify the company, but a federal official who was briefed on the investigation and not authorized to discuss it told The Associated Press it was Taylor Farms of Salinas, California.
