Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Unfortunately, Bonnie has been with us at the Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center since February, making her our longest resident. If you’re looking for a new best friend, please come meet Bonnie. You won’t be disappointed.

Bonnie is a sweet and friendly girl, around three years old. She has a very nice temperament and is well behaved around other dogs at off-site events where she loves meeting people. Living in a kennel for six months hasn’t changed her sweet personality. Bonnie is easy to walk on a leash and her favorite thing to do is plop down in the grass and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine with her volunteer friends. This good girl is deserving of a loving home and a new life.

Bonnie is available for foster, adoption or foster to adopt. Please come on out to meet her and a staff member will be happy to explain your options. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
