Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Springfield firefighters say they made quick work of a fire that happened late Wednesday morning.
Springfield Firefighters Local 37 says on social media the fire in the 400 block of South Durkin Drive started in the building’s basement.
The cause hasn’t been released. No one was believed to be hurt.
“The best way to protect lives and property is quick extinguishment via an aggressive interior attack,” said the union.
There’s also no word on the extent of damage.
