Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Not must on the agenda at Monday night’s District 186 School Board Meeting.

One of the items discussed was the upcoming Summer Camps put on by the district for students during the Summer months.

Camp Kindergarten is for Pre-K kids while Camp Compass is for grades K – 5. There are camps for all ages with a complete list available on the District website.

The Family & Community Engagement Summer Tour for 2025 begins with YMCA’s Ninja from 9-12. Upcoming events for the Tour are also on the web.

Managing Director of Business Services, Steve Miller gave the financial update. Right now, District 186 is waiting on almost $360,000 in payments from the State of Illinois.
